Law School Vs. Making Fun Of Friends
If you had the chance to go to law school or waste time making fun of your friends, which would you choose?
Let me put it another way: if you had the chance to sit through years of challenging classes or build a website that makes fun of your friends' text messages, which would you choose? Would millions of hits and millions of dollars affect your decision?
Whatever the case, Ben Bator, co-founder of Texts From Last Night, was glad he chose the latter. During a recent interview with Benzinga, Bator explained how the site got started.
“My partner and I, Lauren Leto, both were in Michigan,” Bator said. “Both [were] about to go to law school in 2009 (in February), and we really wanted a better way to make fun of our friends.”
“Also,” Bator adds, “we really wanted to know what happened in between when you leave your friends at the bar and when you wake up the next morning to kind of some ridiculous text messages of what happened in the stories of either that night or when they got home.”
